Nothing brings a smile to a singer's face like the sound of enthusiastic applause! The Competition is open to the public and we hope you will plan to attend. Click on the Contact tab above and fill out the form to be added to our mailing list. We will send updates as our winners progress through the levels of competition.
CONTRIBUTE
As a self-sustaining organization, we receive no funding from the Met and rely solely on the support of local individuals to make the Connecticut District Competition possible. Contributions from the public provide prize money for singers, pay the accompanist fee, and travel expenses for the judges (who also volunteer their time). As a completely volunteer-run organization, 100% of your contribution supports the singers’ experience. Donations of all amounts are gratefully accepted. Click the Donate button below to donate now. VOLUNTEER
Whether you want to greet the singers and make them feel welcome in our competition space, help with publicity and marketing, help prepare mailings or share your computer skills, we have a job for you! It takes many helping hands to make the Competition possible each year. Some jobs involve just a few hours on the day of auditions while others can be seasonal or even year-round. SPECIAL GIFTS
Gifts can be made in memory or in honor of an individual or a special occasion and we will be happy to acknowledge your designation in our program.
Individual SPONSORS who underwrite one of our major expenses ($250 to $5,000) will be recognized in a special Sponsor section of the program. Underwriting Sponsorships are available for:
